It depends on how it goes. If you kiss each other, then it's a date. If you get along with each other than it's a date. If you do something else naughty together than it's a date. However, if you just hang out and act like friends, it's not a date.

It's not really an offical date if your friends come along, it might be hard for the boy to tell if you really like him as more then a friend, or if you invited him because he is just a friend like the rest of the people going. After this outting with all the friends, you should ask him out to something with just the two of you. That will give him the hint that you like him as more then just a friend and you can find out if he feels the same way.

if u guys are just going as friends i don see what's wrong with u going with a boy that's jus a friend...I went with five guys to the movies and they were all my friends and nothing more...now if u liked each other and stuff and were like all flirty flirty then maybe it would be considered a date...but a date is usually when the guy likes u and stuff and he askes u to go out wit jus u two..but in ur case it shouldn't be a problem.

No, it is just friends going to the movie. If you asked the boy to go with you alone then that would be a date.

Cheerful Greetings of the Season!

It depends how good of a friend that boy is to you. If you have known him for years then no; whereas if you have just latley met him then it depends how you have been talking to him, i.e. in what style you have been talking to him. Does he have the slightest idea that you like him (im not saying you do); if so then he could think that; if not then you would just be inviting him for a day out, like friends. Hope you know what i mean.

Depends. Since you singled out the fact that you asked him AND your friends....sounds like you like him and need your best friends there for moral support.

Its cool. That's what you do when you're young and are just starting to date. If you really like him, sit with him and have your friends sit somewhere else close in the theater.

Have fun!!!

A date is an appointment...so yes, it is a date. But not like a date in the sense that you are trying to romance him.

kinda. depends if yall like each other. I have friends that are guys, and when we go places its not a date, just friends. However if yall have fellings for each other then thats a date.

If you asked him because you liked him and not just because he's one of the the group you regularly hang out with then yes.

Also it kind of depends on how you asked him.

Tone of voice, eye contact, that kind of stuff.
