You can cut this recipe in half if you need to
Mexican Chili Sauce

2 large cans (28 oz. each) cut tomatoes 4 large cans (7 oz. each) diced green chilies 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper 1/2 lemon, end removed, chopped 2 tablespoons cocoa 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cumin 1/4 cup minced coriander (cilantro)

Combine tomatoes and liquid, chilies, tomato paste, bell pepper, lemon, cocoa, cumin, and coriander. In a blender smoothly puree a portion of the mixture at a time. Combine all the pureed sauce and season with salt. Use sauce, or cover and refrigerate up to 1 week. Freeze for longer storage.

If you are looking for a different recipe that comes with a savory taste and great aroma, you can try making meatloaf with chili peppers. The dish is delightful to the taste buds because of the tangy and zesty flavor of the meatloaf. Aside from the flavor and texture of the dish, many people like the convenience in making the recipe. In only a matter of minutes, anyone can prepare the meatloaf with such an exquisite taste.

Could you be more specific, like the way you're going to using it in your recipe??? Unless it's an Asian inspired dish, I think the term Chili Sauce in this recipe is a reference to the type sold by Heinz and Del Monte which you'll find near the ketchup, in the grocery store, comes in 12 ounce bottles.......

No, chili sauce looks like "sweet and sour" sauce - it's not really chili powder-like. Try your local grocery store - it should only be about $2

Don't forget to look in the Asian foods section. It's usually with the Soy Sauce, Teriyaki Sauces, etc.

Well you could always go to the store and buy a can of chili.

Like for shrimp? Then it's just ketchup with raw (jarred) horseradish to taste. Maybe a squeeze of lemon.
