Think of this, If those verses only applied to Jews and those prophesies didn’t actually happen, then it conflicts with the trustworthiness of God’s word. The Bible states in
Joshua 23:14
14 “Now, look! I am going today in the way of all the earth, and YOU well know with all YOUR hearts and with all YOUR souls that not one word out of all the good words that Jehovah YOUR God has spoken to YOU has failed. They have all come true for YOU. Not one word of them has failed.
Rev 21:5 -
5 And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I AM MAKING ALL THINGS NEW.” Also, he says: “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”

Does the earth and heaven need to be destroyed in order for it to be NEW? The usage of the word NEW in the Bible will help us.
2 Cor 5:17 -
Consequently if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away, look! new things have come into existence.

In 2 Cor 5, the old person who is dead spiritually , dies but a NEW creation comes into existence.
Does the moon become obliterated when you say NEW Moon? Psalms 81:3.
Jehovah God will make all things new, He will destroy all the wicked ones and those ruining the earth. But will make the earth and heaven new, not only because it will become home for his faithful people but because the earth will become a paradise under God’s kingdom.

So when the Bible states "new Earth" it is talking of an earth that was transformed into a paradise. The first earth (the old earth with all the wicked elements) will pass away but the righteous will remain in it. See Prov 2:21 , 2 Pet 3. In 2 Pet 3 the old earth was destroyed during Noah's day, but the earth remained and so in the future the earth will be cleansed and the wicked will be no more. See Psalms 37:10 - And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be

True. Ps. 37:9b says: "But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth." Ps. 37:11 says: "But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth." Isa. 45:18 says: "He (Jehovah) the true God, the former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the one who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited..." How can Jehovah's purpose for the earth be fulfilled if he destroys it?

Well you're stating something that goes against the general norm of end time theology. Yet, you have a friend who agrees with you...me. I believe the earth will last forever. Most people think all eternity will be in heaven, however we will be there only for a little while. I believe that God is creating or has created a new jereasulem and earth already. When the timing is right He will form this new earth with our earth. I know there are a bunch of people who agree with me.

Revelation 21:1 (WEB) "I saw a new heaven and a NEW EARTH: for the first heaven and the FIRST EARTH HAVE PASSED AWAY, and the sea is no more."
The Bible clearly states that the current Earth will pass away, and there will be a new Earth, which the righteous will inherit forever.

Jehovah told Adam and Eve that their offspring will turn this earth into a paradise. If this doesn't happen, then His word would not come true.
This is something that will never happen.
It is the world of ungodly men (and women) that are destroyed.
Not the world we live on.

At the second coming of Jesus, everyone saved by God's grace will rise (their bodies) from the grave and their souls will descend back to earth. It will be like the Garden of Eden again when God restores it.

Yes I do.
The earth is a humongous place that will last forever.
If it ever does descend it will take a long time for that to happen,
and I doubt it will ever end because of the size.

Hey, you woke up this morning. What the hell ya want for a dollar? There is no reality in 10 minutes ago, or ten minutes from now. So, chill out, and live in the present.

nope. it will not last forever. there are many theories out there, but one that i think is interesting is that the universe is like a rubber band. it says that the rubber band was stretched to capacity during creation and that it will eventually retract. there is proof that every year we slowly get closer to the sun so i think there is a possibility that this is true. i think that eventually we will smash into the sun if we don't burn up first.

No, it will not last "forever." It will perish by one of several easy-to-predict catastrophes. None of them are associated with any god whatsoever. But just to point one out, as the sun ages it will undergo changes that will destroy the earth - end of story.
