it tastes like rain smells. it's also pretty rough. and it's just water, so it doesn't really taste that good. the roughness on your tongue takes away from enjoying it. it would be good with flavored fruit or sweetened syrups poured on it. But if you buy a snow-cone it tastes better than real snow.

This is something I've done before. Put a bottle of water in the freezer for about 1 hour (time may vary). When you take it out, it shouldn't be frozen solid yet, still in a liquid-like state. When you open the top of the bottle, watch as the water solidifies into a slush-like state. This is what snow tastes like.

Snow tastes just like cold water. If you get clean snow you can pour a favorite syrup on it and make a tasty snow cone.
