2 Timothy 3:12 Those who live a godly life will be persecuted.
Christianity is not a "free pass" from all trials and tribulations and tears.
I always tell people you deal with the hand that is dealt to you in life how you act/react will reveal if you have a good or bad testimony.
I have had intense persecution in my life before I was saved and after I became a christian. It made me grow up and go on with my life.
Jesus received intense persecution and in John 15 He says if they hate you bear in mind they hated me first.
Why should anyone expect to get treated better than Jesus did on this earth?
The martyrs of old died with dignity grace with the blessed hope of seeing Jesus in heaven.
I hope this helps you and have a blessed evening.

Actually, not all Christians whine about persecution. But way too many do. It is my considered opinion if Christians who whine would quit it they would have more time to worship God and do as he commands. There is no where that I know of in the Bible where it tells Christians to bash any other person or group of person in today's society. Any person who claims to be a Christian, but spends their time whining about other people and their habits need to involve themselves more in the study of their Bible. Then they would find more love and compassion for those they are bashing or ridiculing. I don't believe I should, as a Christian try to force my beliefs on any one and I don't believe I should condemn any one for their beliefs. Jesus said.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Matthew 10:14
That means in effect, you did what you were supposed to do. Now go away and leave them alone. It does not mean to bash or ridicule them.

I wasnt alive 1000 years and so as that they dont somewhat influence me. each and every time it truly is a very crowded day at Disneyland it many times contains my concepts that this is a acceptable position for a terrorist to plant a bomb. Extremists are a difficulty that for my area impacts my existence immediately and so that is why we "whine" about it. Do you imagine we shouldnt be "whining" about terrorism in any type purely because somebody else did it, too?

I wish they would stop trying to tie themselves in with the christians who are honestly ready to die for their beliefs... there are some who do nothing but sit on here and bash others and then whine when we return the favor...Christians are persecuted, but how is us picking on you persecuting you? didn't Jesus say you will be persecuted AS he was? This is NOTHING compared to that... wait til you are whipped and crucified and stabbed... THEN you can talk about persecution!

They do it everyday.
They play the victim, they get offended by questions that aren't offensive in the LEAST...I think they are just offended and feel "persecuted" by our mere existance.
We don't believe as they do, and it either scares them because they aren't strong enough in their own beliefs to just accept it, or they are scared because the world as they know it could come crashing down! OH NO! Not the ATHEISTS!!!
Anyways, it's not all of them. In fact, I've seen a lot of Christians telling the cry babies to get over it...I love it!
Oh well, SSDD.

(1) The original definition of martyr was - "witness to the truth"
(2) Only SOME whine - but that's true of EVERY group.

Christians whine about everything, in case you hadn't noticed. In this, the Age of Entitlement, they're just another group of whiners however.

Agreed! There is at least one whiny "we're being persecuted" each day. Get the stake ready, and the torches... maybe we should show them what persecution really is.
I'm kidding! :)

Yes, the, "hey, there's no special tax that gives money to my church" persecution complex.
For Christians, persecution means a lack of a theocracy.
