Saudi Arabia and Iran are less than 100 years old and have never fought a war between themselves.........directly.
Because Malaysia is the largest single Muslim nation, does not mean that only a small percentage of Muslims are in the Middle East. A majority of them are still there.

Saudi Arabia is a dictatorship and Iran is a theocracy. Saudi Arabia doesn't represent Sunni thought any more than Canada represents Protestantism. The religions aren't going to be affected by small-scale politics and fights between governments.
