Our neighbors are super people (best neighbors so far we've had). However they have two dogs, and one of their males loves pissing through the chain link fence (required cause of the green space) onto our yard. We never really cared about it until now, we just got our new 8 week old Husky and after the first initial introductions he got less scared of them. So everytime they are out together Zandar (our pup) goes to greet them and them the same. The one male that loves to pee through our fence tries to pee on our little one...I've gotten lucky and got him in the nic of time, almost getting myself wet in the process. We've voiced ourselves to our neighbors regarding this, but they don't seem to care. I don't feel like telling them off as we do like them. Is there anything we can do to stop this dog? ie: bitter apple, etc? I know I shouldn't be the one to train their dog, but they don't seem to want to...they just say he'll get you back one day...my response, no he won't learn that!

Maybe put up a piece of clear plastic or plexiglass along the bottom of the fence so the pee won't go through?

This neighbor's dog is asserting his dominance in an annoying way. It is the sort of behavior that would be very difficult to deter. You don't want the neighbor's dog to associate your dog with negative feedback - that would just lead to more problems. So don't tazer him when he pees on your pup. Fortunately, this problem is easily solved by adding boards or some solid barrier along the fence line so the urine can't come through.

Good fences make good neighbors.

Our dog pees through the fence onto the neighbor dog all the time, and the neighbor dog returns in kind.

There really isn't anything you can do. Dogs are gross. You didn't know that before you got one?

Just wait 'til your husky pup starts eating his own poo. (Think I'm kidding?)

I would but privacy fence (wooden panels) to put against the fence where the dog is peeing. It may be a little expensive, but it will keep you happy and on good terms with you neighbors.

There is nothing you can do other than putting another fence in fron of the fence to keep your dog back

if its a chain mesh fence, maybe you could put a strip along the bottom (as tall as the dog) of plastic/perspex on your side, that way they can still see each other, but not have a shower.
