There are a lot of dogs out there who need loving homes. Most people who breed their dogs end up giving them away to negligent people who in turn breed that dog and give the puppies to "loving homes", abusing the dogs, etc. The cycle never ends. Just saying what happens to the animals in the real world.

The way to find a good dog to breed with your is through the showing circuit. Take your dog, enter in shows, prove that it is a fine example of your breed. Once you've done this, you will have made the proper connections to reputable breeders who may be interested. Otherwise, you're just a backyard breeder and adding to the over population issues.

How old is your dog? What genetic clearances has it had done? What breed is it?

ALL breeds have genetic problems and responsible breeders screen for these problems BEFORE they breed. Then they make sure the potential sire has also been screened.

This person has good articles about dog breeding that you should read before you decide to breed.

Don't breed your dog! There are thousands of unwanted dogs that die because there aren't enough homes for them. Don't add to it. If you want another dog then go to a shelter and adopt one.

Nver breed anything unless you are doing it to better the breed. Not that many people have dogs worthy of breeding for that purpose. Please, forget about breeeding for any other reason.

No. There is no such site.

Is this the same basset hound from the kill shelter in your last question? Did they make you sign anything at the shelter promising to neuter him?
