No, he is not too old, I've gotten them neutered much older than that.
Only training will calm him down and make him stop peeing, but the job will be much easier if he is fixed because you won't have the hormones to deal with.

No. After I breed my male Doberman one time I ended up getting him neutered at the age of 4 1/2 years old and he had no problems. He should calm down a little but I don't know about his peeing on the floor.

He isn't too old. A dog can be too young, but rarely too old. It is a good idea to get your dog neutered for many reasons. As far as calming him down and getting him to quit peeing on the floor, possibly. The only problem is that at this age, there may be a need for obedience training/crate training. You should really talk to a vet. The peeing could also be a sign of a uti. But either way, unless you plan on studding you dog for breeding purposes, get him neutered. It's better for his overall health. Good Luck!

No he's not to old at all, some dogs calm down after op but it's not a guarantee and peeing on the floor sounds like you need to spend a little more time training him ok GL and Merry christmas

No, two years old is not too old.
My vet said that they shy away from neutering a dog that is four or more years old because it is a lot of stress for a dog that age to be put under anesthesia and etc.
It probably will help, but you'll only really know if you get him neutered.
Kudos for getting your dog from a kill shelter!

No dog is too old to be neutered. It will calm him down. Peeing on the floor is iffy. My dog is like fifteen and he still to this day pees on the floor.

NO, he is not too old to be fixed, and in fact the shelter should have made you sign something when you adopted him saying that he needed to be neutered as a part of the adoption.
Please get him neutered ASAP.

He is not too old. It can help his peeing and calm him down (but it can take a few weeks).
