Do not judge, do not be bitter or angry, do not condemn, do not protest, do not be so outspoken.
Love everyone, nurture others, turn your focus to God and away from this sinful world, forgive, forget, lead by example, turn the other cheek, sit down, be quite and wait on the Lord. God is love, be a reflection of him.
If someone doesnt accept the word, move on. Be curtious, be respectful, be giving, be humble. Do not go by your own understanding, or try to turn God into what you want him to be for your own benefit. Don't ask what can God, or the Church do for me, ask what can I do for them.
Romans 12:1
Give back to him what is his.

All good, thanks.

But does anyone else think it's remarkable that a community which has apparently adopted the teachings of Christ needs to be reminded of the obvious basics? And not for the first (or last) time? How come this isn't what being a Christian was all about? If it was you'd find you got the same respect and standing among other belief groups that Shintoists, Buddhists and Pagans do - which is plenty.

Judge rightly. In your anger do not sin. Stand up for the truth. Confront others with the truth but IN LOVE. It is not love to not confront someone with the truth, or to do so in a belligerent manner. The hateful attacks on the unsaved are not Christian behaviour, but to deny them the truth you know isn't either. If someone knew I had invited an opportunistic serial murderer into my home and they didn't warn me, they would be guilty when I was murdered. Sinners have invited a murderer into their lives (the wages of sin is death), and i would be guilty not to tell them.

I agree with the rest.

Some have a hard time moving on when they are not accepted at first. This is what I have learnt: we should shine like the sun.

The sun doesn't care where its rays fall, and it doesn't care whether its rays are appreciated or shunned. It just keeps on shining, and is always there even if there is a storm in its way. Be true to yourself, and let others be true to themselves.

Remember too that when we are shining, it is the Sun in us shining through us, it is our Father in our hearts: "I of my own self can do nothing, it is the father in me that is the doer" Humility and gratitude for whatever life brings us will lead us to happiness!

The Christian view will continuously be distinctive than the worlds. We pass to the Bible for solutions...and it says, "God hates divorce" it isn't the unforgivable sin, however the implications final for generations, and a super type of situations, human beings wanted they might've stayed and tried to artwork issues out. Like others have stated, whilst adultery happens, you're released out of your marriage vows. It additionally says in the event that they abandon you, then you definately are not 'certain' to him/her In situations of abuse, i believe the lady can seperate from her husband.

You are exactly right. That is what I've been trying to tell people. God doesn't want us to fight for him. He doesn't need us to. Our being alive is proof. It says it somewhere in the new testament. It's ok to be on fire for God and Jesus, but he wants us to be who we are with his love and spread that to others. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Keep doing what you're doing honey. God bless you!

I agree. But don't you think it also has to be addressed to non-Christians and non-believers as well? I have observed there are more there who calls on christians as morons, uneducated and closed minded ain't it a judgement, and why do you specifically targeted the christians on this matter only? I am not a Christian but I often see it in R&S.

FINALLY!!!! I'm not religious, but I do have to say this was beautifully written. This is precisely how everyone should live like, not just Christians, unfortunately there are too many people pointing fingers. I'm glad there's one person who isn't into the name-calling, finger pointing, etc towards us atheists. Thank you!!
