Your question is slightly misinformed...

Judaism celebrates its Shabbat (what Sunday is to Christians, a day of rest and prayer) from sundown on Friday night to sundown on Saturday night. During this time, orthodox Jews are supposed to be at home with their families, not working or cooking or watching TV or doing other things. Friday night is a time to celebrate and enjoy the company of your family. Saturday morning you go to temple for services and prayer.

There is no prohibition against going outside - indeed, they have to go outside in order to walk to temple on Saturday. But the point is that they shouldn't be hanging out with friends or running errands - Shabbat is a time of reflection. Many Jewish organizations close early on Friday so that the Orthodox members can get home and finish their chores and cooking before sundown. Some Jews only observe this restriction on special holidays, not every week.

None that I know of.

Just to clarify, Jews who keep the Sabbath need to all their business (whether it be work, home (ie cooking), driving, etc) completed before the onset of the Sabbath. There is no requirement to be indoors or to remain there after dark...even on the Sabbath. Just limited in what one can do and how it can get done.
