Have you looked at your local shelters and or newspaper? I'm going to be straight with you, puppies may be good to own if you want to start from scratch but in the long run, an adult Border may better. They will probably have some at your shelter or in the newspaper. Ive looked on quite a few websites, theres quite a few Borders down in Texas. Depends on how much your willing to spend for a quality pup though, most (around here at least) will be $300 - 800 depending on colour and registry. Look in google, yahoo, or msn under 'Texas Border Collie pup' (pup to ensure it comes out as either puppy or puppies). If you're swaying more towards the adult you can probably find one for less in the newspaper. If you really want a good pup without much of a wait then look around. I own 2 Borders and am now looking for a Toy sized Aussie, I found one in Arizona that can be shipped. Quality is one thing I take pride in over anything else, if you honestly want a quality pup look around. Otherwise, look within state and the facility the pups are bred within and or raised within. The only kennel I would recommend is Red Dawn. OFA hips checked and CERF cleared eyes.

Look on the net for a Border Collie rescue in your area. People turn them into rescues because they didn't research the breed before getting one. They require a lot of work.

Visit the AKC web sight they have a breeder referal list. nevr get puppy from pet stores or on line

I know they are cute but think of getting a dog at the Animal Shelter. They need you more!
