I have been with my boyfriend for three years I just found out he lied about going to the strippers in the beginning of the relationship and also was ditched by his guy friend and left alone with two other girls (patrons). He stayed and talked to them for two hours. Then left. Now our relationship has been wonderful and we have both grow so in love an attached to each other. This is the first blow in our relationship. He swears he is faithful and it was the only lie he made. What would you do?

If this was only once -- 3 years ago -- at the beginning of your relationship... then don't worry about it. But as for the people telling you that all men go to see strippers no matter how committed they are, and you just have to accept it... well that is total BS.

Most men do go to a strip club at least once in their lifetime. Some frequent them (not the type of guy I'm into). But MANY men find nothing at all attractive about going to be teased (not pleased) and needlessly swindled out of money by women who usually wouldn't look so hot if the lights weren't so dim.

If your man is not immature or a sex fiend, he should be able to stay away from strip clubs -- if he's really devoted to you. So like I said, if you are really sure that it was once -- way back when -- then don't worry about it. But if you know or believe it is MORE than that or that he still does it -- you do NOT have to just put up with it.

There ARE guys out there with better morals. There are also guys who will tell you that "all men do it." But those are the ones with no morals and who want us all to lower our expectations because they suck. Don't fall for it.

I would take his word for it. Maybe he feels as if you guys are close enough that he can get it off his conscience without you breaking up with him. If he has given you no reason to doubt him since, then remember it (he did that at the beginning of the relationship, when he wasn't as attached, I guess) but try not to hold it against him or let it taint the purity of your relationship.. (not to say, be completely trusting of him either).

My guys did the same thing but he said all he got was a lap dance and felt ashamed during the whole thing......ya right!! Well I got mad at first but then realized guys think about sex all the time they like the fantasy deal, as long as he didn't do anything with them then it's all good, but do you trust him enough to believe that? Anyways i didn't feel so guilty after I went to an exotic dancers show after he did that....hahah... don't take it to heart, just make sure it doesn't become a habit for him.

If that was me after i found out i would ask him why and if he gave me an excuse i would say see ya but then being toghther for 3 yrs i know it would be hard to just say see ya but either he cares or he dosen't but it would give him time to think about what he did and if he still wants to be with you.

I wouldn't let it get me down. He came clean- it was awhile ago, and you've had no reason to suspect anything since then, right? I'd let it go. Don't blow what you have over something that happened so long ago, and was probably very innocent anyways.

get over it seriously...everything has been fine since right? and it was in the beginning when you guys were still filling each other out. after he realized how much he did care for you he didn't screw up again. really don't make a deal about it...feel proud that he didn't choose some loosey goosey over you.

Why did he hide it from you in the first place if he has done nothing wrong? Looking is not cheating, touching is. So why don't you ask him that?

Men are going to go to the strippers weather you like it or not. If you trust him, there shouldn't be a problem. This doesn't necessarily mean that he's cheating.

hey....even married men go to see the strippers, it is harmless fun.......and we all tell our wives we went bowling or went to get something to eat.........so if you can't handle it now, you better become a lesbian because all the guys go to see the strippers.
