I agree... Jameson. It's not too expensive, yet is an excellent whiskey. Other drinks to try are Guinness Draft (a dark beer) and Bailey's Irish Cream.

It costs over $100 USD, but Middleton's is a much nicer Irish whiskey than Jameson or Bushmills, in my humble opinion.

Jameson's1790 not reg Jameson's ,Bushmills or Black Bush,Tullymore dew is also very good and not to expensive
Add some Irish coffee cups with recipe
1oz whiskey, tsp sugar, fill 3/4 way with coffee and top with whipped cream...

PADDY'S all the way. If you want a great, unique (to American's), Irish whiskey thats the only one to get. If you can find some, get it, but you may have to special order it from a distributor.

Jameson is pretty good. It depends on your state as to the price. I find it cheaper in Missouri. We drive a few miles and buy it by the case. I save about $40 on a case.
