Professional boxers typically workout 6 days a week. They do their roadwork in the mornings or evenings and spend anywhere from 3 to 6hrs a day in the gym. They alternate hard and easy days in the gym to give their body/muscles time to recover. Their workouts are so intense that an easy day looks like a hard workout to the layman. Their floor workouts typically include stretching prior to their workout, mirror training, shadowboxing, heavybag (depending upon their progression in training camp they may cut back on heavybag work in favor of sparring), double end bag, speed bag, jumping rope, and calisthenics (stomach work, pushups, weight training on alternate days). FYI - Roy Jones Jr. does not use weights in his workout.

We start out with a nice long jog that is followed up by a vigorous printing session. Next we get into the calisthenics. These two steps take about an hour but it is only considered a warm up. Next you may get into the push ups and the throwing of the medicine ball. Then you throw on the gloves and get into the real workout.

The one thing i have to say to you is if you are looking to just stay in shape dont do one body part a day for 15 sets or somthing stupid like that. i like push pull work outs best meens chest and tries and back and bys, i also do legs alone and soulders and a big abb workout together the reason i am saying big is because you should work abs every day. also change it up do diferent workouts diferent days

Lots of high intensity cardio-vascular work outs. Sprints, cycling and skipping are favourites.

Jumproping!! Best cardio out there and certainly rips your arms up and tightens your abs too!

Best thing, is you can do it anywhere! Even without a rope!
