Good god, I wish I could be fretting over just 8 pounds. Skinny is wasted on the wrong people. I personally think you're a twig and you need a few curves.

No. Different people have different sized frames. I was looking at a chart and I am a little over 6 ft tall. It says my ideal weight is 160-175 or something close to that. I weigh around 210 and if I lost any more weight I would look anorexic. So im pretty sure the adding 5 lbs is just a myth.

that means I should be 120 lbs. lol I already look skiny at 125. One thing you need to concider if your very physical you will have a heavier body mass due to increased muscle. So the add 5 lbs really doen't hold too well. Eat healthy and stay fit. That's all that should matter to you. Not what others say.

That is what I've heard too but it sounds like you aren't overweight. You need to remember that everyone's build is different too. So, someone who is the same height as you with a different build may weigh more or less than you. Check with your doctor if you are concerned about it and they do have charts that tell you based on your height and weight what is a healthy weight range for you.

No, this is not true! If this were true, then I would be in big trouble. My breast alone weighs about 15lbs. and I'm 5'5". If this were true I would have to be nothing but skin and bone, because your bones alone weigh about 80lbs. and your skin another 20lbs. The healthy weight for someone who is 5'3"-5'6" is 135-145lbs. You also have to consider muscle weighs more than water and water weighs more than fat!!!!

No, it is a bunch of crap. Seriously, I don't know why they still say that, it is very outdated and there is actually quite a range you can weigh at each height. Just go by BMI or even better, go by body fat percentage. HTH : )
