Download the Microsoft .NET Framework redistributable file.

Beware! This could be a virus. You might not actually need this file. Some viruses tell you that you need a file but the file is actually the virus.

When I see a warning like this, I usually go to symantec.com and use their search engine to find out information. In this case, I'd type in "msvcr71" and see what comes up, then do what the article tells you to do.

Also, try booting your computer in Safe Mode and then starting your antivirus program.
