or are you okay with The Earth's beautiful living things dieing off since you'll either be dead before the feces really hits the fan or because you believe you'll be rewarded with a new Earth after this one has been thoroughly trashed by human shortsighted avarice?

personally, my heart is breaking. i can barely endure the losses and the impending losses of so many of "God's" varied and wondrous manifestations.

Yes, I care very much. I very much mourn not only the death of various animal species, but of humans as well. And especially I mourn what is happening to the planet.
You are right (in one of your answers) to think humans will eventually kill themselves off--- maybe not before they've killed off so many other species however.
The earth will eventually heal itself... but who will be around to see it?
My heart breaks as well. I am in love with this world--- with nature and animals ...and human babies as well. We've just screwed things up SO badly.
Can we salvage it? Sometimes seems hopeless--- especially since so many people refuse to even accept the truth, let alone change their ways.

Why are we going extinct? because of the fact we've the best sence to no longer have greater young babies than we are in a position to cope with to pay for. some human beings reproduce at alarming expenses,by means of prehistoric religeouse ideals, or the actuality that they dont could pay for them. so a ways as ''why doesnt anyone care''? straightforward... Whitey has been blamed for each weak point, lack of know-how, or laziness that stands in the way of a few races furthering themselfs in existence. preserving it actual seems to be greater important than doing a competent activity. some are afraid that in the event that they do a competent activity, sell, dig themselves out of the ghetto, they're going to be seen ''sell outs, uncle toms , or stuff like that. anybody which will call that unfaithful is in denial. only blame whitey has been the ''thank you to pass'' for too long, and while there are not any white human beings left, who's falt will that is then? The lighter shaded ones i assume. i could desire to pass on and on for days stating evidence, yet some could get the incorrect impact, and think of i'm a racist, which i'm not greater racist than anyone else. Lighter skined blacks dont like darker skinned blacks, and an identical for Latino and Mexican human beings. look how good the human beings in the middle east get alongside. Racism is everywere, and with each race, like it or no longer.....JMO.....thank you.....

Yes, I am just fine with it. The Earth is not a static place. Things are changing all of the time. There will be some losses along the way.

It's like saying "I like my child being a toddler, so I expect them to be that way forever" It just doesn't work that way.

Sad yes, but it won't spoil my dinner. What is far more worrying is not the loss of a species, but the destruction of a habitat on which hundreds of sepcies depend.

Its tragic, and unfortuatly a product of our own doings, slowly weeding out creatures, and other living things, through development. I mourn, but unfortunatly, as long as we treat the earth as a playground, and not a precious resourse, it will continue to happen.

I think it's very sad.
Christians are to be stewards of this earth. Rewards have nothing to do with it. Why would I want to destroy what God has created?

They probably were declared extinct by scientist and we know how reliable they are. Just keep looking for them.

No. I care about the 3,000 souls in Africa that will die from HIV/AIDS today. Sorry, but I care more about human beings than animals.
