So is this fellow prankster a customer and you are trying to do something to get back at them or is it another mechanic within the shop?

If it's a customer how about putting some really "pretty-girl" floral scented thing under his seat. Or if you can get away with it a pair of girls panties or something. Or put one of those coiled up snake things that would pop out of the glove box when he opens it. Or maybe some confetti in an open container that will spill when he pulls down the visor. Or buy one of those plastic sheets that you can place over glass that looks like a big crack in the windshield.

If it's another mechanic in the shop how about putting a phoney snake or spider somewhere under the hood where he will be sure to find it while he's working under the hood.

Usually "good prank" & "not permanant" dont go together. But the plastic wrap ideas are pretty good.

Try this: since you work in a garage its even easier. Take apart the driver side door & tie a string to the inside with a bolt or nut attached to it. Include a note on it saying something like "its about time you found me!" the rattling with every bump & turn will drive him crazy!

Have fun!

once you've a series of automobile dollies you could get some adult males to placed a persons' vehicle between 2 timber (or different immovable products) in this manner of way that they could't back the automobile out. only jack up each tire to placed the dolly below. Then, push the automobile so as that some merchandise is in the front of the automobile, and yet another merchandise is in back. imagine about that Austin Powers scene in the hallway of Dr. Evil's construction and the golf cart. Oh, and then conceal the dollies so he's were given to stay with it for a pair hours.

Put some cat sh*te on the roof. Then turn up the heating or leave outside if its a warm day. After a few hours, clean off the roof. The inside will smell all funked up!

We put a roll of pennies in the hub cap of a newly wed couple that ended up making them spend their wedding night at a very seedy motel while waiting to find out the horrible racket they heard was just loose pennies. Every time they started to move or slow down to stop, they rattled like hell.

If you got access to his vehicle, and some mechanical knowledge, re-wire the horn so it goes off whenever the brake pedal (or whatever) is pushed.
