For "How":
-- If I would sense something which needs to be cleared from your way to my beleif so that you may be able to see whats ahead, I would do so.
-- If I sense that I need to help you, I would try to reason my beleif out in front of you from what you already know, only on basis of facts and logic.
For "Why":
-- Only if you think that you have followed the way I have reasoned my beleif in front of you is correct.
For "no faith" or anything:
You (oneself; one's own dicision) are always right. (Why? because it may take you to an understanding that what you have just commited was a mistake)

Second bit first.
There's choosing a faith because of how it helps your interactions with the rest of society, and how it helps you see the world and your self.
And there's choosing a faith because you are convinced it more accurately represents the true nature of the universe (even if that is awkward and makes you unpopular with the local majority viewpoint).
The two are clearly not always going to be compatible, so what you are aiming for may need some thought before getting more specific.
I like books. It isn't everyone's first choice route to information and knowledge but I would recommend, even though I am not a Christian, "The Case for Christianity" by Colin Chapman. It is honest, as far as I can tell, about presenting all the options, not just Christianity, in a very clear manner.
If you find your way through that, you should be very clear on all major issues, all major faiths, and the implications of these.
ABE has it cheaply, wherever in the world you are.
From there, it's making-up-your-own-mind time.
Me, I think I had good reasons for becoming a Christian, and good reasons for ceasing to be. That hardly pleased that many people. But it was sticking with honesty over the easier choice, from my point of view.

You look to voice a good type of critiques which aren't to any extent further reality purely own interpretations or beliefs. i somewhat choose no evidence of your concept on your responses. You do comprehend that anybody who needs to educate, seek for for evidence or provide evidence of their beliefs does no longer somewhat have the concept and as such are agnostic no longer christian. preserving that a "reason" starting to be an result must be equivalent to or more effective than the end result isn't any maximum impressive because the sum of various of reason can create an result at the same time as each and each and every in my opinion isn't equivalent nor more effective, in problem-free words the some is such is evolution and the formation of this universe. Time is a man made theory and choose. that is why your bible attributes human features to it truly is god alongside with we were made in "it truly is" image frail, weak and finite. It required six "days" to create all then required "relax" on the seventh. Time is only a theory a length advanced and utilized my mankind that is why they blanketed it of their writings Your reaction nevertheless did not answer the unique question "who or what created your god? the answer to that question is mankind. Your believing isn't evidence nor does it substantiate the life of gods. Mankind has created and believed in extra that 3 hundred gods by our heritage. maximum were resigned to lore and fantasy as we grew to change into extra knowledgeable and able. you've chosen to adhere to the writings of guy and this manner of gods. What you've, all you've is a concept. imagine about it!

Sam Harris does a far better job than I in pleading the case for atheism in Letter to a Christian Nation.

It would depend on what keeps you on the fence really. If you believe in God but dont believe in the Biblical God, or aspects of Him I would share with you the reasons I do. If it's Jesus you have issues with, then we would talk about Him. Maybe it's the Bible itself?
It depends on what causes your un-belief and I cant tell you if you are wrong, only God can.

Chose reason.
I believe that the burden of proof on this issue is on those who claim there's a spanking sky daddy.
There is no proof of any such thing (or any other kind of magic). Therefore, it's unreasonable to believe in them.
Reason works.

No one should try to make you decide in favor of his faith. Each must choose his own way.

I don't think I would try to convince you to adopt my beliefs. I would encourage you to seek you own truth. If they happen to match mine...then good for us!
