Religion is responsible for keeping the masses 'in check' by using the fear of going to hell versus the promise of going to heaven. The war side of religion is an added bonus to those who wish to stamp on the beliefs and rights of others.
Basically, religion is a curse on mankind.

Some people believe that religion is the root cause...I don't think so ... MONEY is what causes wars and hatred ... how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer... coincidentally some of the poorer nations in this world happen to be non Christian..living in a non Capitalist country and not endorsing Commercialism as a way of life... they detest the way their lands are being exploited by 'The West' and have little to believe in perhaps except their religion....it all comes back to money

Religion is the cause of all wars. It is not religion but people who use religion as an excuse to start a war. If we all loved each other like were supposed to regardless of race and colour, then no one would want to start a war.

cause of all the wars and hatred? No.
Cause of many wars and divisions? Yes.
It's a very real delusion, so I'm not sure "fake" is the right word. False, perhaps.

Yes Islam is the reason for 99% of all wars on the face of the world right now. Christianity is not a religion its a relationship with God like what you are saying in your question.

first, religion is not neccesarily fake
second, many of the most horrific wars have had to deal with relgion, but if people changed and realized that's not about who's religion is "right or wrong" and accepted others beliefs then we wouldn't keep having history repeat itself.

Actually, I think religion is just an excuse used by people with (bad) lives to revolt against them. Because their God says it's OK it's not really a crime. Whether religion is fake though, I dunno. If it is, billions of people out there who worship one deity or another are wrong. That's a lot of people to get confused.

You question is unquestionably slanted. Religion is an excuse to go kill people and oppress poor people so that others can be rich. Or for oppressed people to kill other people that are rich as that they are not oppressed.
The cause of war is almost, in every circumstance, economics or oppression.
This is very obvious.
