God is not dead because he was never born. He or anything living dies which is born; but death does not occur to a subject which was never born.

Maybe your god is dead but mine is alive. But as some trivia Thomas Jefferson believed that but He believed in creation and that after that God died or something. Keep in mind the man wanted to free slaves raised for generations with western slave owners and dump them on the shores of Africa. Freeing was great but dumping is bad.

we pray beacuase we need something to drive us on. can you really imagine an existance where theres no point? why would you want to? so why not just bealive in something to just bealive? plus, with all the things in life that synchronize and match up together, how would there not be some over watching force that regulates everything.

Imaginary god. Is that so hard to understand? Can't there be an imaginary god? Why does everything have to be so real with you people??
I want to defend those who pray. Many of them pray to an imaginary god, and that is good. Please do not begrudge them.

you said god is dead that means you agreed that he existed. if you believe in the existence of god, i think no believer would say that god is dead as they believe god is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent and he has no birth no death. if you are an atheist, you should not say that god is dead for atheists do not believe that god does exist. so there is no question of the death of god.what is the knowledge we gain by posting this type of questions?
