I read a horrible story in the biography of prophet Muhammed that one of his companions KILLED his wife because she told him she did not like what prophet Muhammed was doing.
After KILLING his wife, the man confessed to prophet Muhammed and told him she was very decent and kind to him but he could not stand her insulting prophet Muhammed. When prophet Muhammed heard that he praised the man.
I was very surprised to read that story because I thought that killing should be a MJOR CRIME that should never be praised.
(1) Is that story true?
(2) Was prophet Muhammed just to praise somone for KILLING?

It seems that I forgot to mention my original source, which is an authentic prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed himself and narrated by Abu Dawood and Al Nisa'ii.
This is the original statement in its original Arabic language:

You thought that killing was always a major crime? So when the christian god obliterated the entire population of two cities in the old testament, every last man, woman and child except for ONE family, was that a 'major crime' too? When the state kills people convicted of capital offenses, is that a 'major crime'? Either killing someone is NEVER acceptable, or sometimes it is. If sometimes it is, then each case is different and you shouldn't be surprised if a story about a prophet involves a killing. Perhaps her death was justified. You will never know.

Yes.
There is also the story of the woman who was pregnant because of adultery.
She went to Mohammed. He told her to come back to him after she had the baby. She did. He told her to come back to him after the baby was weened. She did. He told his followers to have her killed and kept the baby for himself.
This is exactly the opposite of what Jesus did when the pharasees brought the lady caught in the act of adultery (not the man) & brought her before Jesus to stone her. Jesus wrote in the dirt. Asked that the person without sin throw the 1st stone. The accusers left. Jesus told her, "Where are your accusers? Neither do I accuse you. Go and sin no more...".
To those who think you are making this up, they should read the Koran & Hadith & other Islamic Reading Materials.

bla bla bla bla !!!
i think you should use your energy in good work for your religion instead of criticizing others !!! Is'nt a Good Idea??
Btw its wrong,Never heard of such thing ever... Muhammad(pbuh) was so tolerant to others that he had listened to even direct abusing to him when he was preaching islam and peoples were against him...they used to abuse him, insult him and even throw the dirty things on him but still he used to forgive them easily.
