No, they don't celebrate the "pagan" holiday. They celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, which happened to be adopted on the pagan date.
God looks at the heart of the people. Why can't people do the same?

Celebrating your beliefs on the same day of a pagan holiday is not a sin. The celebration is what you make of it.
I don't celebrate Mithra's birth or exchange eggs on Easter to commemorate a pagan queen/goddess son's rising from the dead.
I don't put up a tree in my home anymore (merely because of the hassle) and when I did, I didn't associate it with a Norse tradition.
I celebrate certain holidays to commemorate Christ alone.

I agree the traditions, and even the days chosen, for the Holidays are pagan in origin. I have no problem admitting that.
But I do not worship a pagan God by celebrating, and that my friend, makes all the difference.

no, because they sorta blended it with their Christmas. It's still a different holiday, just using the same symbols and day. Instead of the birth of the sun they celebrate the birth of the son. What's so bad about copying the symbols and trying to cover up the pagan day??

No as long as they believe in Jesus too. Their religion includes many pagan nuances and things borrowed from paganism, but as long as they believe in Jesus they go to heaven, and people who don't, don't.
People who don't believe in Jesus, go to hell, where they suffer eternal torment. Hell itself is a kind of pagan thing, isn't it?
Christianity and paganism are not that far apart. So certainly, there shouldn't be any punishment for celebrating pagan holidays. Why do you ask? Are you trying to start an aguement?

I dont think they are but I know you might be going to hell just because of the label you have placed upon yourself!! Get rid of this name you have placed on yourself and see how the rest of your day will be. Honestly!! Just reading your name makes me feel how saddend God is with this label. You are really hurting Him and He only has good thoughts for you and about you!

I checked the ten commandments and, alas, there is no laws condemning the theft of another's religious holidays and making them your own....
God doesnt mind theivery if performed in His name. Kinda like murder....
