There is no right answer to that question. Everyone will simply give you an opinion based off what they are using it for. What are you planing to do with it? Are you looking for standard def, or hi-def? Do you plan on recording to mini dv tape, dvd, or hard drive? What is your budget?

Bottom line, all camcorders have their strengths and weaknesses, but you need the one that is best for YOU.
