On my coursework I have to write about the building the Piece Hall. It was built with Dressed stone and I have to say whether it is Classical or Neo classical. I don't know which it is?!? I have tried to find out and this is my last resort!!!!!!

Dressed stone is just stone that has been worked on... i.e. could be smooth faced stone for block work or could be detailled with design.

It's usually associated with building work... undressed is either a rock or roughly cut stone.

hope this helps

How do you mean like columns?
Or the actual age of the stone?
