IF they have been told the truth about Jesus and choose not to believe, that is their choice to spend eternity in Gehenna. Jesus' love and peace descend upon you.

Hindus are often insulted by Muslims and Christians as being idolaters and stone worshippers. This is wholly inaccurate. The idols that we worship play only a symbolic role. They are there to symbolise the gods and not constitute the gods. No Hindu in his or her right mind actually believes that the idols they worship are the gods themselves and will come alive! That is nonsense. The Vedic texts actually prohibit the construction of idols, however ancient Indians chose to prevaricate this religious law. The reason was that they found idols of gods were good as a method to focus worship and give it a direction. No Hindu in their right mind actually believes that god can be reduced to a statue or a clay stone. There is a similar dynamic in all religions. Even Buddhism use religious idols for symbolic purposes. In churches there are often status of Jesus on a cross. Muslims run around the black rock at Mecca which they call "lord's house". Thus religious symbols are actually practiced in every religion. That is all the Hindu idols are - symbols. Nothing more and nothing less.

It's the same as those that worship a cross, or an image of Jesus? Neither are god and it's breaking on of the ten commandments.

People are supposed to worship and believe in the thought of god and know he/she exists. To follow a righteous path and to live free of sin.

Who knows where anyone is going? Who cares anyway? It's important that you the individual do what you think is right. If you shoot craps at the end of the day, oh well...

It betrays your ignorance about Hindu religion. If I comment on another Religion without reading it's texts I am exibiting my ignorance. No where in Hindu "Revealed" Religious texts(VEDAM) "Idol Worship" has been preached.When100s of the "Ethnic" worships, prevailing in various parts of the sub-Continent, the Puranas-18 in number-(Not VEDAM) brought them into the fold of Hindu Religion and codified them Idol worship is one among them..A Brahma Gjaani is ADVISED NOT to worship an Idol.(Tanum Bhakthi)

From what i understand they dont worship idols. They pray to what the idols represent. Its no different to wearing a cross or having a statue of mary or jesus on the cross in church. Alot of it is just symbolism and spiritual meaning than actual physical worship.
