When you get the bible verse, I'll edit this appropriately.

However, if it is in Lev., then I'd suggest double checking that. A lot of the old laws in Lev. are no longer applied, like stoning prostitutes or slavery or the hundreds of dietary laws. Mostly, the laws that can also be found in the New Testament (some do parallel Lev.) are used and quoted often.

I do not think there is a passage that allows the murder of an innocent child.

I think this is the passage you're thinking of:

If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
-Exodus 21:22 (KJV)

And that's not at all what it says. It describes the punishment for injuring a woman in a way that causes her pregnancy to terminate.
In fact, there is NOT ONE WORD in the entire bible concerning a woman who voluntarily terminates a pregnancy. Fascinating that so many Christians consider abortion to be a religious issue, isn't it?

i think of that's extremely clever to invite what they think of the definition of existence is in the previous asking those questions. i've got faith that existence is any organic and organic cellular that consumes ability, produces waste, improve, exchange... you recognize, cellular stuff. This, of direction, potential that maximum cancers is likewise a residing cellular. you could wreck those cells, even with the undeniable fact that, it may no longer be homicide/killing. What differentiate killing extremely of destroying: if the organism can sense soreness, self conscious, concious, and/or experience its ecosystem – any action which thoroughly destroys its ideas function (merely organism with brains can sense soreness) will reason the organism to die. homicide is while the action of killing could have been avioded. This differentiates between injuries, existence/dying circumstances, alongside with complicated situations, and killing for nutrients. To me, dying isn't a tragic experience for the guy lifeless. i think of we merely flow to the grave, yet who is conscious. i understand that dying is a tragic experience (in the international) for the individuals who’s lives have been touched by employing that individual. once you kill somebody, you at the instant are not hurting the lifeless – you're hurting their pals and relatives. (lifeless men won't be able to cry) An early point abortion – to me – is incorrect IF the female doesn’t evaluate the others who would be affected (her husband/bf/relatives). as quickly as the fetus can sense soreness and positive aspects conciousness, any attempt to end it for selfish motives is incorrect. At this element, you're killing some thing. If this act could have been avioded – that's homicide. no remember if that's a existence or dying challenge - the female/relatives could have the alternative. i think of any abortion after 3 months (i think of that’s while the fetus will become extremely conscious) is homicide till unforseen problems upward push up. people having intercourse could evaluate what they could desire to do incase of an accident extremely of waiting around for 3 months. making plans for the extra severe case scenario is the in charge flow. thank you on your question. i'm hoping it solutions your questions in mild of what i think of.

Edit: oops, now I'm surprised at both answers that preceded this one.

Your question will be answered with questions, statements and the Word of God.

Would You Consider Abortion in These Four Situations?
1. There is a preacher and wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 children. Now she finds out she is pregnant with her 15th. They are living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending abortion?
2. The father is sick with sniffles and the mother has TB. They have 4 children. The first is blind, and the second is dead. The third is deaf and the fourth has TB. The mother finds she is pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you recommend abortion?
3. A man raped a 13-year-old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?
4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She is not married. Her fiancé is not the father of the baby, and he is very upset. Would you recommend an abortion?
If you have answered, “yes” to any of these situations:
In the first case you would have killed John Wesley, one of the great evangelists of the 19th century.
In the second case, you would have killed Beethoven.
In the third case you would have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer.
In the fourth case you would have recommended the killing of Jesus Christ. +

According to the Word of God abortion isn't legal!

Thou shalt not kill. Exodus 20:13 KJV HOLY BIBLE ++

U.S. Abortion Deaths Compared to U.S. War Deaths
U.S. War Deaths from Revolutionary War through “War on Terror” is less than 2 million in 230 years time.+++
U.S. Abortion Deaths from 1973 through 2006 is more than 45,864,435 in 33 years time.++++

Dear Ones,
If you have killed an unborn child(ren), you have transgressed the law. If you have helped a woman to kill the unborn child(ren), you have transgressed the law. The “morning after” pill kills an unborn child if after conception (the moment that life begins) the pregnancy is disrupted causing an abortion of life to take place. Transgressing the law is called sin.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV HOLY BIBLE +++++

The Word of God clearly states that all have sinned in one way or another.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJV HOLY BIBLE ++++++

Their is still hope for us when we come short of the glory of God if we confess our sins.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1st John 1:9 KJV HOLY BIBLE +++++++

This isn't a license to sin as the Word of God points out.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2 KJV HOLY BIBLE ++++++++

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John 3:16-21 KJV HOLY BIBLE +++++++++
