On my nose and below my eyes it is red and i tried a few different acne products and no solution. By my ears, scalp and my upper lip it gets dry and i get lots of dead skin in the dry areas!!
This is my last resort until i see a Doctor!!

Based on yoru description, it could be eczema, psoriasis or rosesha (sp?). You should probably see a detmatologist. He or she will prescribe a cream more than likely and it should begin to go away.

It sounds like you have Rosacea or excema, not acne. The acne products are probably making it worse. Washing with a gentle oatmeal cleanser like Aveeno, rinsing very well, and using the Aveeno lotion after might help a lot. You can buy Aveeno products at most supermarkets and stores like Target. I use it on my baby and it works great. Otherwise you may need medication for excema.

You probably have a skin condition that will require a steroid topical treatment. Just contact your doctor and they can prescribe a topical ointment, most likely you have contact Dermatitis an allergic reactions to something that you are coming into contact with. Discontinue using acne medications because this will worsen your condition.

Proactive and most other acne medication will just dry out your skin. Use lots of moisurizors during the day. At night, put on a thicker creme (I use Dove) to keep it on your face longer.

It might be your diet.
Check that out, back off sugar, too many fatty things and carbohydrates .
Try eating more vegatables and fruit.
