I gained weight after I got on birth control. Could this be a problem while trying to lose weight?

I think you're just fine too. Guys like girls with a little meat on their bones. You are by no means fat. Just a little overweight. If you are happy and healthy, you don't need to worry about the stupid statistics or what somebody else says you are supposed to be. If you want to lose weight because YOU feel you need to, then blessed be. Or for health problems. But if you are only losing weight because the stats say you need to, then screw that! Somebody said your weight should be 120-155...if you were 120 and 5'6", then you would be all bony and anorexic looking-just not healthy.... Nobody should tell you what you should look like.
Like somebody else said, you sound sexy...

Because of the height weight ratio yes it is considered about 20 pounds over weight. You are perfect between 120-150. After that 151-190 overweight. And then 191-130 is obese and so on. To be on the safe side talk to your doctor first but you are looking at least losing 20 pounds.

I'm 17 and I'm 5'6" and I weigh 140 and I always felt like that was overwieght because all the other girls my age weigh much less. It sounds like you are slightly overweight and you could probably lose 20 pounds and be a little bit healthier. Make sure that you're working out and eating more healthy if you want to lose weight and make sure that you have support. It's really hard to lose weight alone. Here's a link to a BMI calcualtor to find out where you stand. http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.htm

Type in Body Mass Index (BMI) on the web(yahoo or google) and you can go to sites where you just enter you height and weight and it will tell you if you are over weight and by how much,or if you are underweight, and by how much. You dont sound like your overweight though.

It all depends on how you wear it. You might look nothing short of stunning, or you might look like a whale (I doubt that)
I guess it depends on how much of that is muscle too.
Just so you know, guys like big breasts ok -If you work out and start trying to loose loads of weight, thats the first place you're going to loose it - Life's great eh? lol
Good Luck - I'd say you were fine like that But that's my opinion

yup. i would say normal weight for 5'6 would be between 135-155. so you are slightly overweight by about 15 lbs.
