there is nothing wrong with peanuts for dogs. Your dog could have an allergic reaction to them but probably not. when people say dont feed your dog chocolate its because MOST dogs have allergic reactions to the cocoa. They are a lot like humans. Another thing I wouldnt push is Macadamea nuts becuase most dogs have a allergic reaction to them. If you want to feed your dog peanuts go right ahead but whenever you feed a dog new food it could get sick from it and you will know right away and then you can take it the vet and just dont feed it whatever it was again.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Read more here https://biturl.im/aU1Em
The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don't achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren't putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.
The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.
Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

My dog at a half a peanut accidently dropped by my husband and within 10 minutes started throwing up. He then gagged and coughed most of the night and was up wandering around. The next day he was fine.
I would suggest, as with any new food, you either choose not to take the chance or give your dog a very small taste as a test before giving him a lot of it.
The dog I have has been found to have a negative reaction to several things that he has managed to get a small taste of, so my rule of thumb with him is he gets dog food and dog biscuits and don't drop any food around him. Period.

There are all types of peanut butter flavored treats for dogs, including peanut butter filled bones. Also, when we give our dog her medicine twice daily, we give it to her by sticking it on a dog biscuit with peanut butter. She's taken it that way for about 3 years with no ill effects.

This was found on a similar question:
"Peanuts are not a good thing to feed your dog. Most dogs are allergic to peanuts. It can cause severe reactions such as seizures. That is not to say it will do that everytime to every dog. But it can happen."

Some nuts contain alot of copper... If your dog is a breed that has a problem with high copper it can be a problem. Many dogs are allergic to nuts... But a few peanuts here and there if they aren't allergic, aren't likely to hurt. Watch for choking tho.

Any human food in mass quantities isn't a good thing, but small amounts of peanut butter here and there are just fine--most dogs love it. Edit: Don't worry! It's just a small amount, your dog should be fine. Editx2: "Helper", you are certainly NOT helping, it is NOT toxic.
