People ultimately choose their behaviors. Even if you would want to claim there is some genetic inclination for being gay it is not an excuse. You would not sit by and let a loved one drink themselves to death because they have some genetic tendency to be alcoholic.

I am not sure why people are homophobic. I think there is a lot of fear about these kinds of issues. I am not aware of God hating gays. It is described as a sin and God does not like sin. However, homosexuality is not a greater sin than other sins.

Science really has little to offer in this area. Nature is also a difficult argument to make on either side. There are bad things about nature and good.

I hope you are better than an animal. No matter what the articles say being gay goes against nature and God.
For the ones who don't know what God thinks about this sin read the Bible.

Uh, dude. First, calm down a little.

Let me start this by saying that I am Christian. I am not going to lecture you, but hear me out for a second.

The Bible sets codes of conduct that I agree to try and live by. Notice I said "try". I fail more than I care to admit, but I am trying.

Next, I don't hate homosexuals. I have some that I consider good friends. I don't necessarily approve of all of their choices, but that does not mean that I don't like them as people. I do not degrade them for their choices, nor preach to them.

Thirdly, if you really have to use the behavior of animals to justify what you are doing, you may want to try to strengthen your argument or change tacks. I hope that humans have evolved past the point where we only have swine and dogs to which to compare our behaviors.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them......because they knew God they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like footed beats and creeping things. Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever..FOR THIS REASON God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another; men with men, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penality of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness;...who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them."
This is what God has to say about people like you so stop and think about what you are saying and doing. Not for God's sake but for the sake of YOUR soul. And No, animals are not gay. You are a pervert if you think such things.

God does not hate gays , or for that matter anyone else! People hate what they judge to be wrong. Hate the misunderstanding. Hate the vested self interest that promotes misunderstanding.

god doesn't hate gays.

but the bible sure is anti-gay in a couple places, anti-female in many spots, and anti-divorce in several places, too.

but, we love women and getting divorces. so, it's easier just to hate gays.

actually, check this study/book out, too -- Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity by Dr. Bruce Bagemihl. Or, remain a moron and ignore it.

properly, reliable for you. although, many sensible Christians would note the historic context IS a really major part of documents a e book which has been translated such an excellent type of circumstances. also, many Christians pay more desirable interest to what Jesus is declared to have stated, than to what his apostiles stated after he became lengthy previous. And Jesus did not say some thing about homosexuality, in accordance to the debts in the bible.

These holier than thou Christians will not change their minds. I heard yesterday--on PBS--a recently defeated Senator (Republican) say that the Bush administration kept the gay issue stirred up, to keep a rallying point for them with the Christians.
Sick, isn't it?
