That we all will walk a mile in each others shoes before this life is over.....I don't mind sharing and doing for others but when it comes to me asking for help I'd rather do w/out I'm just prideful like that, but lately I've needed help and just can't ask do you think that God is unpleased with my prideful attitude and is trying to break me down?

I note in my life that although it IS "...more blessed to give than to receive," that we must to learn to do both - humbly, graciously, lovingly.

I am going through similar circumstances, and I can feel for/with you. I can only say that God loves you. I will speak of my own life when I say that He has been forced to force me to recognize MY pride...and that forcing the issue was necessary to get me to decide to change for the better. I find that it's still painful, but pain for a good purpose is a little easier to bear.

Keep going - keep trusting - keep praying. Know that you ARE loved!

God is not amused, let's put it that way.
Actually God does not really pay attention to the details, so don't worry that God wants to hurt you. Just do everything for yourself, cause God is somewhere else occupied with other things. And we wish all the best for you.

i don't think self reliance is a bad thing but if you need some assistance it's okay to take it when it's offered. and no ... i don't think "God" is trying to break you down. you're just going through a hard patch and you're not used to having to ask for help.

don't fret too much. you'll be okay. someone like you who prefers to be self reliant is always okay eventually.

i believe we should.... and honestly i believe this is the reason we are here
to learn from others and understanding compassion by putting ourself in the position of others
God wont be unpleased with you ... please dont think that
but i am stubborn in that way also .. i prefer helping than being helped
but we all need someone to help us at times ... let people help you xx

Proverbs 16:18
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Bless you in your struggle.
