This all depends. If you have kept the cat outdoors constantly in all different temps and weather conditions, than probably anywhere from 6 or above would be getting old. However, if you have cared for the cat and had it come indoors and fed it properly, than 10 years old and above would be considered an old cat. Cats have life spans that can go well into their 20's, however rare. Usually they will live into their teens.

cats are officially classified as a senior at 7 years old but that is not very old on average probably around 12-14 years although some cats dont show it till about 15 -16

An average lifespan for an indoor cat can be 15 to even 20 years. An average lifespan for an outdoor cat is usually only about 5 years. Hope this helps!

I have had cats live to 18, 15, and now I have three that are 11 and one that is 9.

i had a Siamese cat that was 19 yrs old. I'm not sure what the record is for longest living cat

i had a cat that was 15 years old and still played with his toys
i say when a cat is18 to 20 it is old

Usually, once a cat reaches 10+ yrs old, he's considered a ''senior''.

they are usually considered "old" or seniors when they reach the age of ten.
