Even with your frame, you may need to lose 25 pounds.

Your 15 years old and still growing, you don't need to worry about this right now, don't listen to the negative remarks that you are getting from others here. If you are really concerned you should talk to your DR. about this. But as far as I can say, What does it really matter what others think of you? Why are you asking other people, do they have to live in your body? What does that matter? All that matters is that you have respect for your body and your life, no one else can live it for you. Take care sweetie.

Jackie O's sister once commented that a woman can never be too thin or too rich.

She happened to be both very thin and very rich, but apparently a woman's work is never done. I think it's as much a warning as a self-congratulation: whatever weight you choose will be better for you than an endless losing comparison with this year's media icon.

Actually that's about 10 lbs. over the normal weight for a person of that height. If you keep your BMI under 25 you should be fine. For that height I would say anything between 118 and 125 lbs would meet your normal weight.

105 pounds to 135 pounds. Your weight is fine.

different people have different size frames...depending on yoru frame, you may not be fat. Dont listen to these people, BMI doesnt take into consideration your BONE Density or size.

go to www.am-i-fat.com and it will help you calculate your right weight and frame size...then you can compare it to averages across the nation.

:) goodluck! (im 5'1 also, but I have a larger frame)

Here is the rule: 100 lbs for 5 ft of height then
5 lbs for every inch over 5 ft.

At Five foot One inch tall you should way more like 105. You would appear to be 30 lbs over weight.

What is your age? If you are under 18 you will still be growing more. So just cut back on the junk food and snack food intake and you may grow into your weight.

you are just barely overweight with a BMI of 25.5 in order to be mid way between the normals of 18.5 and 24.9 you would have to bump down 15 lbs... but seriously; if you're healthy and you're happy who cares about .6 right?

I'm the same height and I was told that ideally I should be about 125. But if you're in shape and exercising, don't worry too much.
