I have triplet boys. I started potty training them when they were about 1 1/2. After trying it for a few months, i let it go and started again around 2. They are 3 now and completely potty trained. Still wear diapers to bed though.
I think each child is different. One of my triplets caught onto potty training right away, while the other 2 it took a few months. As long as they are out of diapers by the time they are in preschool, then don't worry about it or stress over it too much. Children will learn when its time for them to learn!

My son was 3 when he was fully pottytrained. Some kids do it sooner some later. I dont think there is a right or wrong time. Kids are on their own schedule and will do it when the feel like it. I tried to potty train him at 2 and 2 1/2 and it didnt work. So i let him tell me when he was ready. :)

My daughter's were potty trained by two, but my son took a little longer. He was almost three when he was potty trained. Every child is different, but it seems that girls were a little bit easier.

I think they're confusing for the child and didn't use them. There's little difference between a diaper and pull up so how are they supposed to know the difference. They should be able to know that If I have underpants on, I need to go to the toilet and if I've got a diaper on, its o.k to pee in them. As soon as i got rid of all the diapers and pull ups and just put cotton pants on him, my son was potty trained in a few days. xx

I think other countries do this much earlier. However, I didn't have much luck until the boys were 3. At three, they were completely potty trained -no accidents even at bedtime.

my boys where all around 3,
but each child is ready when their ready, their is no set age, on average girls a ready sooner then boys.
signs to look out for are an intrest in the toilet and them hateing being wet and demanding to be changed, or telling you their going to pee. you should start then
for night it depends on the kid as well - one of my boys did it 6 months after he was trained during the day!, the other 2 around 3/4 and the 4th is 5 and still in goodnites/drynites
it just takes time and you cant rush it

My son is 2 and we just started potty training him he is doing awsome, He wets the bed but that is to be expected. you can buy pull ups for at night but i would not recomend it due to the fact that you whant them to know what it is like to feel wet when they pee so that they can relize that they dont like it.
