Why....Help??

My desktop shut itself down yesterday night and I turned it back on and it did the same thing. So I kept it off over night and tried agian and now it comes on for about 5 seconds and turns back off. I cleaned it out and everything does anyone know what's wrong?

Try loading in Safe Mode. Turn your PC on - as soon as you see Windows checking memory, press and hold down the F8 key until lights stop blinking.

You will get a menu. Choose Safe Mode.
click Start
Settings
Control Panel
Power Management

Check it out.
