I just got married and sent my wedding pictures to my old job where an ex-coworker and friend saw a picture of my brother in those photos. She thought he was cute etc blah blah blah so since my brother is divorced and single and looking, i asked if she'd like to meet him. SHe was ok with it and i asked my brother and he is ok with it. They never met. So now i'm wondering how i should get them together. Shoudl i send them on a blind date? Invite them over my place or go out together with my wife and them like a double date? I don't want to put pressure on either of them and they're both kinda shy but i think they'd really be good for each other and it would be a shame for them not to meet. How should i go about getting them to meet and tehy both want to meet each other?

Go on a double date with your wife and them. That way it is more of a group atmosphere and they can take there time to get to know the other person. No pressure either.

I would suggest taking them on a double date... that way you and your husband acually take care of most of the decisions, and they have so much less presure on them...

also, keep the conversations going, i don't care if it's on the weather, don't let it be silent for to long (unless it's good, like a movie or something)... and talk about things that both of them know about... this again, takes presure off of them, and being that your there, they will be more comforatable and able to open up...

All / Any of your suggestions would work...
Perhaps some combination might work...
Do something together at first and then go
your own seperate ways for the second half of the evening...
They are both adults and probably can handle a blind date..

I think the double date thing sounds best. that way they won't have to carry the weight of a new meeting alone. if they hit it off, you can split up after dinner or whatever you do.

well- get your brother to mett "you" at a restaurant to get a casual meal and telly our co worker to meet you too at the same restaurant at the same time and tell them both that you will show up but don't so they can aquant themselves while you "come"
