Hate the sin, Love the sinner.

In Genesis 19:1-29 the cities of Sodom and Gommorah were destroyed because the people were so wicked. The men of the city wanted to have sex with other men. So God's judgement on the city was to destroy it by raining down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah.

Leviticus 18:22 (speaking to men in Israel) "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable."

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

Romans 1:26-27 "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

1 Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders...will inhereit the kingdom of God."

1 Corinthians 6:13 "The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body."

1 Timothy 1:8-10 "We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers."

I grew up Christian, then when I was 19 unexpectedly started having same sex attractions. It freaked me out. I spent the next 8 years struggling with this, fighting my feelings vs what I knew to be right. When I was 25 I made a real informed decision for Christ and over the next 3 years saw my struggle fade away.

From my perspective, God still loved me. He didn't like my sin, but as I gave it to Him, He showed me how He plans to use this experience for His glory in my life. I am 100% free from homosexuality today praise God! I believe that we need to just love people. I get so upset at these "christians" who say God hates gay people. That is sooooo wrong! I know God loved me all the way through and it was His desire to see me find my freedom.

I believe that churches should never turn a gay person away just because they're gay. The heart attitude must be seen. If a person is coming for help, how dare we reject them?? If someone wants to be a part of a church however and still live this lifestyle, they would be confronted as any other person choosing to live in sin would be. If you are a member of a church, you are confessing that their beliefs are your own. If a church reads their Bible and sees that homosexuality is a sin, they must address their congregation as such. If a person acknowleges their sin and is willing to seek a change, they are welcome to stay. The only reason to kick a person out is an unrepentant heart.

The same as any sin within Christianity. Everyone commits sin and therefore none of us can point to the homosexual and judge or condemn them. A sin is a sin in the eyes of God. Homosexuality is no bigger a sin than lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, murder, etc. Love the sinner not the sin. What they do behind closed doors is between them and God. I neither want nor need to know the depth of anyones personal sins.

Homosexuality is a behavior and that behavior is a sin. Luckily through Christ, one's sin can be forgiven. We are all sinners before Christ and by His grace alone we are forgiven.

It's sad to me that so many of my fellow Christians forget that fact. Many like to condemn the sin of others while excusing their pet sins (we all have them) as somehow "less" sinful than that of the homosexual. I've been in in churches in which admitted homsexuals were asked to leave the church because of their lifestyle. This I don't understand. What right to do we as Christians have to ask someone to leave God's house? If you can't go to church and admit your sin with a contrite heart, where in this world can you find a safe haven?

The Bible is against all forms of sex outside of marriage and basically defines marriage as a man and woman.

The Bible has specific citations against male homosexual acts.

The Bible, however, does not have any clear citations on sexual orientation.

Jesus said to keep from being fornicators all men SHOULD (not must) marry.

Hence the door is open for asexuality.

It is self-evident from STDs and the fact that virtually every nation in the world makes sexual commerence (prostitution) illegal and sets minimum age limits (generally 16 or 18 years) that lose sexuality is not acceptable to the masses.

People, however, should not be discriminated against because of what they are or what they believe in any form. It is only their actions and deeds that bear consquences.

Oh, for **** sake. Homosexuality isn't a call. Gays dont have administration over it. it truly is an same element as your eyes were 'determined' brown particularly of blue. The humorous element is, i in no way heard God killed human beings because they're born with blue eyes. So Christians ought to study biology, anatomy and genetics. And a question to homophobic believers: did you comprehend why adult males have nipples? Does your Oh-sensible God answer that? for sure no longer. technology does it and also you do not even study it. Then u keep utilizing 'sin' at the same time as speaking about homosexuals. purely imagine. If God creates each and every thing and function administration over each and each and every organism; to illustrate:God made me a gay. who're you to question his creation or despise it? isn't that a sin? i'm unable to believe in a God who chooses hormones and DNA and organ bonds and creates something noted as 'homosexuality' and then sends them to Hell for performing the picture of God built them to act.

Christianity is an admirable lifestyle.

Homosexuality is not a lifestyle I would choose.

One can BE a homosexual and a Christian.

One cannot practice homosexuality and be a Christian.

I think to truly personify the meaning of Christianity and being Christlike it shouldn't matter if someone is homosexual. It shouldn't matter what race, religion or gender someone is either. You embrace the person, not their choices/sins/trangressions(what ever you choose to view homosexuality as). We are all God's children and Christ I believe would love all as they are and choose to be.

I believe hiomosexuality is a sin, HOWEVER, all sins are equal. Homosexuals deserve equal rights, as all HUMANS are equal. God loves them, and Christians should love them too, the Bible says Love One Another, not Love one Another, but not those guys.

I am a Christians, and I support Homosexuals rights to live equal and free in our country. God judges, not me.

The practice of homosexual sex is forbidden by the Bible. The people who say that it is not have to bend over backwards to explain away passages that seem to expressly condem it.

Jesus stated that God intended from the begining for sex to be between a man and a woman who were married for life. Anything else is a misuse of sex.
