In the US Navy, recording race was against policy... which I think is the correct way to run things... you aren't white or black or asian or male or female or catholic or jewish... you are NAVY BLUE.
Cherry Blossom stated a number of 208 via CNN... so (208/2759)100 = 07.5%. (US Military casualties).
