It doesn't make your hair actually grow faster but you should keep your hair trimmed because it keeps your ends from splitting. The splits can go farther and farther up the hair shaft and that causes your hair to break off higher up. If you trim your hair, it will appear to be getting longer when actually it's just not breaking as often.

Trimming takes the dead/split ends off. Your hair doesn't grow any faster when you trim it, but you are able to keep the hair growing without it continuing to split up your hair shaft. If it continues to split, thats when you have to get more of it cut off. I get a trim every 6-8 weeks, as well as a deep conditioning treatment. Keeping moisture in your hair keeps it from getting dry from the sun air and other things. I reccommend letting your hair dry naturally and going over it with a flat iron. If you do use a lot of heat styling, spray a protector on beforehand.

Your hair wont actually grow at a faster rate but when you trim the ends of your hair it helps keep it healthy and free of split ends. And when your hair is healthy and split-end free it will continue growing, not exactly at a faster rate, but it will grow like normal. If you don't trim your hair every so often then you can get split ends, and then your hair will not grow like normal... So in a way, yes trimming your hair does help it grow... healthier.

Trimming helps hair grow faster, thicker, stronger and longer. It is good for the hair as there would be no split ends.

Yes, this works not only with the hair on your head, but also with facial hair. If you trim a mustache, it will come back thicker and longer due to the hair being more healthy.

Objectively, NO. Hair is actually dead cell material, so trimming it merely removes excess matter and fails to stimulate growth at the root.
