Yes, they want to divert attention from this. It is the ideology of radical Islam that Muslims were all "brothers and sisters" and if there is a war, then the enemy must be non-Muslim. In the Quran, there is so much about war between Muslims and non-Muslims. I just had a debate with a Muslim (Pakistani) who seriously said that he thinks that Jews were to blame "for every war in the world", that including what is happening in Iraq. This is the propaganda spread by certain Islamist preachers and TV programs in Muslim countries. These people just can't admit the truth, and blaming someone else all the time makes them feel great.

I believe muslims view themselves as part of a sect. The muslims killing other muslims in Iraq are usually those from one sect attacking another. Also, most of those attacks are aimed towards hurting the US influence in Iraq not for religious purposes.

America's invasion has lead to Iraq's current condition. It was prospering before but now the war has finished everything. So many ppl have died since the war began. America has no right to butt in other countries' problems.

Stop trying to draw attention away from the fact that the coalition are the ones responsible for creating the situation in Iraq.

Many scholars do not consider the Shia way to be Islam. The war is not as big as you think, and it is just Iran and the Middle Eastern countries jostling for power in Iraq.

Because it's not reported in your papers and TVs. Why? because the objectives is to make Islam look bad. Any good done by Muslims are CENSORED in your "democratic", "freedom of speech" countries.

There is a deep sadness in my heart, when I hear stories of a man pulling up to a market, telling people he has jobs for them, they all crown around, and BOOM he blows up the van killing them all..
[003:103] And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of God (i.e. this Qur'ân), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember God's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islâmic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus God makes His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.
[003:104] Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islâm), enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.
[003:105] And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment.
(V.3:103) It has been narrated by Abu Hurairah [May God be Pleased with Him] in the Hadîth Books (At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Mâjah and Abu Dâwûd) that the Prophet [Peace be Upon Him] said: "The Jews and Christians were divided into seventy-one or seventy-two religious sects, and this nation will be divided into seventy-three religious sects -- all in Hell, except one, and that one is the one on which I and my Companions are today [i.e. following the Qur'ân and the Prophet's Sunnah (legal ways, orders, acts of worship and statements of the Prophet )]."
As you can see the Prophet knew very well that there would be different sects, and warned us about them 1400+ years ago.
[030:031] (And remain always) turning in repentance to Him (only), and be afraid and dutiful to Him; and perform As-Salât (the prayers) and be not of Al-Mushrikûn (the polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of God).
[030:032] Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islâmic Monotheism), and became sects, [i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bid'ah), and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.
