Animals praise the Lord in the same sense that a work of art praises the artist. Not in any conscious or active way. The entire universe praises God in this way. Does that mean we shoudln't use anything in the universe??

That really is an awesome question! Never thought of it that way. Although the Lord is the one who provided those things for us because we need the nourishment, we all DO partake of things that praise the Lord. Wow!

Well, before the Mosaic law, men were given permission to eat animals in Genesis, right after the flood.
The were given permission throughout the Mosaiac law.
And we were given permission throughout the Greek scriptures to eat animals.
My chair that I sit in "praises" or speaks of the wonderful ability of it's maker. But it doesn't mean that it's cruel to break it up and use it for firewood.

But isn't it also written that only humans go to your heaven?
Why would anything non-human praise your "lord" if it's not going anywhere after death.
All things that breath are Atheist. I would eat em! :)

Oh, that might get nasty. What about fish? Do they 'breathe'? How about plants that have stoma that open and close to regulate air flow?
Should we instead consider that 'respiration' then, instead of 'breath'?
We're gonna starve to death if metablism is praising god.
