There is a guy that I have known for some time. When I first met him about a year ago he was really sweet to me and always looked in my eyes and gave me nice compliments and tried to help me with stuff. Over the last 2 months though I have noticed a change. When I used to walk in the room before he was really smiley and welcoming. Now though he looks down like hes really shy and embarrassed although hes still smiling, and finds it hard to talk to me and look at me. He seems really nervous. He speaks really softly to me, still wants to do all he can to help me though and really bigs me up to others. He tried really hard in the beginning to get me to notice him and now that I am falling for him he seems a bit different. My friend thinks its because hes gone from the fancying stage to something much deeper and he is frightened of doing or saying something stupid now. He dosen't move away when I move closer but he is much shyer when we are alone and more confident with others and he winks

Too much going on to even make a good guess.

The best and smartest thing you can do is to talk to this guy and find out where he's coming from

Trying to guess is a waste of time.

from what your saying, it sounds like he wants to tell you that he loves you, but he doesn't know how... that's how i was when i was first dating some one...

if you think you're falling for him, sit him down (just the two of you) and tell him that, not us:)

i'm pretty sure that he'll open right up when you tell him that...

i've since learned, myself, not to be that shy, though i still am, there are times i push right out and say what i feel... like with my current girlfriend, took me half an hour to say it, but once i said that I loved her, i felt so much better...

Remember, talking is the best thing for a relationship...

I know exactly how that goes!!! On the eighteenth, I will have liked one of my friends for 9 months, and he is the exact same way. Guys are confusing. My suggestion to both of us is that since we only live once, live with no regrets and just tell him you like him. It may seem hard, but think of how worth it it'll be if he says he likes you, too.

Hes probably nervous because he most likely knows that you know he likes you and that you like him. Just give it time. As long as you don't change how you act around him he will start feeling more comfortable again! Who knows, you might be able to start something serious with this guy!

It sounds like he likes you too. You need to talk to him to find out for sure. Maybe he's the type that wants you to make the first move. Some guys are like that believe it or not! Good luck!

♥ I think he has realized that this realtionship is getting serious. Guys tend to be nervous around you when they realize that the realtionshop is serious. You need to talk to him and find out If he wants to continue this realtionship. Some guys are scared of commitment and are trying to find the best way to say this. Hope things work out.

I'd say your friend is probably right, that whatever he's feeling it's much more than it was and since he may not be getting the same vibe from you, he doesn't want to come on too strong. If you're into him, let him know!

I don't know but just gently let him know how much you regard him. Don't crowd or push him. He's obviously anxious about something and the last thing you want to do is scare him off. Be patient and see if he doesn't "come around" with more time.

Your friends are right--he's fallen in love with you and is terrified of doing anything wrong. I suggest that you let him know how you feel about him--so he can feel more secure and relax around you. Maybe break the ice and make the first move?

I think he wants things to move to a different level now and is unsure how you will respond. If you want to "date" him, why not ask him out. It may make him feel more at ease, and not worry that he'll scare you away.

Hope it works for you two
