Apparently it's looking quite likely, especially for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and North West England. All it needs to take for it to be a "white" christmas in London is for one 3m area of the roof of the met office to see a light dusting of snow, regardless if there's any anywhere else in the city.

OH Helen I will pray and pray for one just for you, if this is what you want, I will pray for you..
as if you not told this a thousand times a day, your prettier than any first snow fall,
so when I does snow for you, be gentle with all who are staring at you and not the falling snow, because you are so gorgeous..
smile
good luck

Helen, I sure hope so. Christmas day is much more thrilling when it's covered in snow. Don't you love sledding and building snowmen? I know I sure do. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
