You could do Waiting for Godot with an all Female Cast.. off the top of my head that's 5 people.. 2 leads, 2 Supporters, and a little kid..
Might make for quite the statement.

Stage Door
Its a non-musical about aspiring broadway actresses living in a boarding house on Manhatten island. Very interesting, puts a light on the difficult world of acting. Check it out. Good Luck!

I think you could do "The Women" by Clare Boothe Luce with 6 women.
You might also be able to do "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes with only women.
"Little Women", while mostly a female cast, does have certain very significant male characters necessary to the plot.

Try the Dramatist Play Service website
http://www.dramatists.com/
They have a very helpful search engine which allows you to search by genre, number of characters, gender, etc.
You might consider some of the works by David Ives or Carol Churchill.

I've never been to anything that bad, but there were a few movies I rented that I had to turn off because they were just terrible, the one that comes to mind was Silk with Keira Knightley in it.
