well i'm not a guy, but i'd say there's no better place to let it rip than a bathroom. I mean, people get all bent out of shape if a public bathroom stinks, but would they rather the person take a crap on the floor outside the bathroom? No. Same would go for passing gas. Thats what the bathroom is there for....
I honestly don't see why you can't pass gas at a urinal. In a world where anything having to do with bodily functions is considered taboo, there's got to be a safe-house to do what your body does naturally, where people aren't going to scowl at you. Not like they don't do it too.

It's always OK to fart in the bathroom, no matter if your at the urinal, in the stall or at the sink - that's what bathrooms are for, taking care of bodily functions.

I beleive that it is sociably acceptable to fart when at the urinal... but only if they are separate urinals. Buffer zone is the space between them....
As for trough urinals, farting is unacceptable. There is no buffer zone or partition. Also, please refrain from peeing on my urinal cake - it is there for ME to take aim at, not you. You have your own urinal cake to aim for...

As long as it does not include the meat and the broth, it's ok
It is a MUST (Where else can we take a quick fart without pulling our pants down?)
And for those gals glad they're not boys:
YOu ain't got no idea what you're talking about:

Well, if you must fart, the bathroom is a good place to do it. It would be better for you to go into a stall and fart.

Absolutely NOT. If you are farting "at" the urinal it means you are facing the wrong way and peeing on the floor.

LOL Yes. But only while saying Ah hem over every fart. And if you have a long line of farts, say Ah ah hem hem hem hem over all of them! You can do it while you are chuckling but only with one eye open, with you head wavering back and forth, but never NEVER break out into a full laugh.

as long as you're not standing there deliberately pushing them out, I say it's fine. it's a freaking bathroom after all, which is where stuff like that should take place.

Better place than any i say, it is the toilet after all. when you next get a dirty look, simply smile and say "My mama taught me to share, enjoy". That'll stump em. . .lol
