I am completely overwelmed with all the work I have on my plate, from a full semester as a older student, single mom, housework, pets, Christmas, Scrooge roommate.
I am stuck, overwelmed, goofing off when I shoud be working, but my brains feel like jelly, and I am so very tired.
Please no trite answers, for example, go for a walk, I am exhausted.
I need real inspiration, and no guilt trips either thanks. I have been busting my butt and my brains have just shut down. I started taking supplements for it, but they are not working, I really just want to sleep for a whole day.

It's going to be okay, you can do this.
First, give your brain a true rest. Either get some sleep or go into a dark or low lit room. Just give yourself a chance to have no stimulation whatsoever.
Once you are ready, get up and give yourself something to eat. Your mind and body are connected so it's important that you are eating.
Second, if you feel okay, do something you enjoy that is not too complex or overstimulating. You might not be ready for a long novel or working out. Take it slow. For example, do something that you feel pampers yourself like taking a bath or watching TV, cooking, wrapping presents. But remember, nothing too complex. If you start to feel like it's too much, take a break in your dim lit room, close your eyes, remember to breathe and wait.
So, start out with simple pleasures and pampering. Your body and mind will let you know when you should move on.
Don't be hard on yourself. Just give your body the break it needs. You'll recover, but it will be a long road if you keep pushing yourself. Good luck.

You are overloaded! You can try to ask your profs for more time, or take an incomplete in a class to finish after the holidays.
I also am a big believer in taking a break, whether it's a nap or a time playing a game or whatever, and then returning to work. You can't work your brain for too long without it rebelling.
Is there anyone that could help you out with some of the things you have going on? Reach out to friends. If you tell them you are at the end of your rope, they just might step in to give you a hand.

Yes, you do seem overwhelmed. Inspiration is something you have to recognize, draw in, and run with it. You could sleep all day and probably still feel fatigued because all the problems are still there. The only way to feel better is to take control of the situation and don't let it control you. See if you can schedule the kid(s) to stay with dad or grandparents for a weekend, get your rest and knock everything out and start Monday off with a little bit of footing. It's encouraging to see progress and it drives you to do more, whereas you may feel like you're barely keeping your head above water. Also, I have friends with a disgustingly clean house and I always leave there wanting to go home and clean mine.

Sleep seems to to be the best solution for you. everything is getting to you, so shut down for a couple of days. Make arrangements as you need for this. After you sleep for a while, do something you enjoy. It is OK to be self-centered, especially since you are so OTHER-people-centered 99 % of the time. I f you are not at least a little self-indulgent on a regular basis, you are going to go crazy. I am a mother of a baby and two teens and married and have to take care of a zoo also. My self-indulgences are petty, yes, but SOOOOOOOOOOOO good.
PS You will find that a few minor petty self-indulgences will also help cure the temptation to totally goof off when you are supposed to be working.

WOW! You must be damn proud of yourself to accomplish what you do for yourself! I think you need to give yourself permission to relax. It must take you full force to accomplish what you do.
I am sure there are some family member or close friend of yours that may help you lessen your load somewhat enough to give you some space for a breather? I do know that no one can do it better than yourself and you still can use a break so try and find someone you can rely on to help ya a bit. Good Luck! It will all pay off in the long run and I am sure it is already for you. Keep up the good work!

I know how you feel sometimes taking on to much can make your body want to shut down. I find for myself if I'm feeling really stressed I play games on my x box, spending time with my family, my cat or talking to friends. Also look into some of the chat rooms here on yahoo, they might have a group that can alleviate some of your stressors.
Another option that you can look into is seeing if you can work part time and maybe talk to your school counselor may help in finding a solution with you feeling overloaded by everything. I've been on meds. for depression and anxiety and feel they help most of the time.

I have been in your situation... everyone called me "super mom" .....doing everything for everyone.. nothing for myself... except for working... I would be offered help .. and yet I would turn the help away cuz I thought anyone who offered me help had some kind of alterior motives... well now I wish I would of accepted their help.... ask for help... lighten your load...
every little bit helps... get help with the housework, the laundry... taking care of the house... as for the Scrooge... set him straight.... get up and do your share... or get out......
