Irish Coffee if you live in a cold climate
Brandy if you have money to burn
Red Wine if you are lying to yourself about your level of sophistication
Beer if you are watching football

A family favorite is Ruby Red grapefruit juice (fresh-squeezed if you can get it) and Cranberry Juice Concentrate made with vodka.
You know the stuff. Dump a can into a pitcher and add two cans of water? Use two cans of vodka instead and use that to make a Cran-Vodka-Grapefruit thing.
It's delish, has a nice festive bite to it, and is the prettiest color this side of a poinsettia!
Best wishes!

A Tom and Jerry - basically a hot buttered rum. They sell Tom and Jerry batter mix in glass jars available in most places where liquor is sold. The recipe and directions are on the container. My family makes these every Christmas Eve! You just need the batter, water and rum.

Spiced hard cider or mulled red wine (my fav) Mulling spices can be found almost any grocery this time of year (or recipes on line) they include things like cinamon and dried orange, cranberries. You put your spices in the wine and heat it on the stove. Very cozy. How about hot buttered rum? another easy, tasty warm up. Good luck!

Rum punch or glogg (a Scandinavian drink). Both are served warm but have a kick that will have them dancing in their underwear. I'm sure the recipes for both are on the web somewhere

I gotta tell ya, I had to be the DD for my sister as quickly as. We went to this very upscale x-mas social gathering like 2 years in the past. All im gonna say is, the wealthy individuals get enormously wild after some cocktails. shall we in basic terms say , i got here across my sister and the hostess of the social gathering leaping on the mattress and taking part in coach and tell with their "specific toys" ,heavily i became mortified.
