You introduce first women, oldest to youngest, then men, oldest to youngest. The reason we say Mr. and Mrs. is because the man is traditionally the head of the household.

I'm going with the man's name first. I wouldn't say Mrs. and Mr. Smith. I would say Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
